Fleet Week

Series IV, Roll 4 (Pentax K2, Ilford XP2):

Frame 4 - Blue Angels and Bay Bridge. Telephoto zoom lens.

Frame 6 - Decent subject matter, terrible photo. Telephoto zoom lenses shouldn't be an excuse not to get close to a subject. I had recently acquired the 70-210mm lens, along with the K2, and I was going a little crazy with it; thought it was the greatest thing for a coward photographer. But you lose all depth of field and composition is iffy at best. Long lenses should only be used if you absolutely can't get close to the subject.
