Supplemental - En route to Bangkok, Thailand

Today was ours. No meetings, nothing of a work nature. We met up with some friends of Madoka and hung with them all day, one of whom had a car. We went to the Chiang Mai University area and had some food and dessert. Talked for several hours. We also went to a craft shop that I had found in the guidebook and bought some more there. Then we went to one final riverside restaurant for dinner before Madoka and I had to catch the all-night train back to Bangkok.
